Lambert Instruments HiCATT High Speed Intensified Camera Attachment
The HiCATT High-Speed Intensified Camera attachment from Lambert Instruments is now available with improved relay optics. It is specifically designed for use in combination with high-speed cameras. Applications include Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF), Combustion, Single photon imaging, Bio- and Chemiluminescence Imaging, Plasma physics, Astronomy and Time-resolved imaging and spectroscopy.
The HiCATT is an intensified camera attachment can be used to amplify low light level images to a level up to 10000 times, thereby boosting the sensitivity of the attached high-speed camera and enabling high-speed, low light-level imaging. The HiCATT attaches to all major brand high-speed cameras by using high-quality lens coupling.
Lambert Instruments has improved the optical design of the 1-to-1 (1:1) relay optics for the HiCATT 25. The new design offers light transmission improvements of up to 30%.
In addition, they also offer 1.7:1 relay optics for optimal compatibility with smaller image sensors. These new 1.7:1 relay optics replace the current 2:1 relay optics.
Both the 1:1 relay optics and the 1.7:1 relay optics are compatible with the HiCATT 18 and the HiCATT 25. For the HiCATT 25, the 1.7:1 relay optics offer full sensor coverage for sensors with a diameter of up to 14.7 mm.Learn More: https://www.lambertinstruments.com/hicatt
