Quest™ U Spectrometer Series

Temperature Compensated, High Performance, Low Stray UV Light CCD Spectrometer

The Quest™ U series is optimized for UV performance with a low stray UV light optical bench featuring a high performance, non-cooled linear CCD array spectrometer, with a >2.0 MHz readout speed. External event sensing, control and external trigger input are standard. A 2048 element detector, built-in 16-bit digitizer, temperature compensation, and a USB 2.0 interface are standard. An enhanced RS232 communication is also available. This spectrometer will continuously deliver optimized high throughput results.
Temperature compensation greatly reduces the Thermal Drift to ~15 Counts/°C which decreases baseline drift and sustains the dynamic range.
The Quest™ U is available in two standard spectral configurations; 200nm - 400nm and 200nm - 850nm. Custom configurations are available for OEM applications.

Quest™ X Spectrometer Series

Temperature Compensated, High Performance, Compact CCD Spectrometer

The Quest™ X series is a high performance, non-cooled linear CCD array spectrometer, with a >2.0 MHz readout speed. External event sensing, control and external trigger input are standard. A 2048 element detector, built-in 16-bit digitizer, temperature compensation, and a USB 2.0 interface are standard. An enhanced RS232 communication is also available. This spectrometer will continuously deliver optimized high throughput results.
Temperature compensation greatly reduces the Thermal Drift to ~15 Counts/°C which decreases baseline drift and sustains the dynamic range.
The Quest™ X is ideal for most UV, Vis, and NIR applications with our standard spectral configurations which start at 200nm to as high as 1050nm. With our slit options, resolutions between 0.5nm and 3.0nm can be achieved. Flexible custom configurations and application support are available for OEM applications.

Glacier™ X Spectrometer Series

TE Cooled 16-bit USB Linear CCD Array Spectrometer

The Glacier™ X series is a high performance, Thermoelectric Cooled (TEC) linear CCD array spectrometer solution. Equipped with 2048 elements, built-in 16-bit digitizer, and high-speed USB 2.0 interface, this TE Cooled spectrometer will continuously deliver optimized high throughput results.
Compared to non-cooled CCD spectrometers, the Glacier™ X offers higher dynamic range, significantly reduced dark counts, and superior long-term operation stability, making it ideal for low light level detection and long-term monitoring applications.
Wavelength configurations are available from as low as 200nm to as high as 1050nm with standard configuration resolutions of 0.6nm to 4.0nm. Flexible custom configurations and application support are available for OEM applications.

Glacier™ X Preconfigured Spectrometer for Raman Applications

TE Cooled CCD Array Spectrometer for Raman Spectroscopy

The Glacier™ X series is a high performance, Thermoelectric Cooled (TEC) linear CCD array spectrometer solution. Equipped with 2048 elements, built-in 16-bit digitizer, and high-speed USB 2.0 interface, this TE Cooled spectrometer will continuously deliver optimized high throughput results.
The Glacier™ X is the smallest TE cooled spectrometer on the market and is ideal for low light level applications such as fluorescence and Raman spectroscopy. B&W Tek’s proprietary TE Cooling technology allows the signal to be integrated for sufficient time to accumulate measurable signals for detection, without being saturated with dark noise. The result is a far superior signal-to-noise ratio for long integration times.
The Glacier™ X preconfigured for Raman spectroscopy is designed for use with a 785nm excitation source and has a wavelength range of 3215cm-1 from the Rayleigh line and a resolution of ~10cm-1 and cylindrical lens, which provides up to a 3x boost in sensitivity.

TE Cooled CCD Array Spectrometer for Fluorescence Spectroscopy

The Glacier™ X series is a high performance, Thermoelectric Cooled (TEC) linear CCD array spectrometer solution. Equipped with 2048 elements, built-in 16-bit digitizer, and high-speed USB 2.0 interface, this TE Cooled spectrometer will continuously deliver optimized high throughput results.
The Glacier™ X is the smallest TE cooled spectrometer on the market and is ideal for low light level applications such as fluorescence and Raman spectroscopy. Glacier™ T

High Resolution TE Cooled CCD Spectrometer for Raman Spectroscopy

The Glacier™ T series is a high resolution double pass transmission based Thermoelectric Cooled (TEC) linear CCD array spectrometer designed for Raman spectroscopy. The Glacier™ T comes preconfigured for 532nm or 785nm excitation with a wide spectral range or high resolution option.

Equipped with 2048 elements, built-in 16-bit digitizer, and high-speed USB 2.0 interface, this TE Cooled spectrometer will continuously deliver optimized high throughput results.

Combining a Glacier™ T spectrometer to its corresponding excitation laser system and Raman Probe provides a module level Raman system or OEM building block.

Cypher™ H

Fiber Coupled UV - NIR Enhanced PDA Array Spectrometer

The Cypher™ H is a high performance linear PDA spectrometer with high speed plug-and-play USB 2.0 interface, 512 or 1024 element linear PDA array, optimized high throughput spectrograph, 16-bit built-in digitizer, and fiber coupled input capability.
The PDA offers high dynamic range, high signal-to-noise ratio and enhanced UV and NIR sensitivity; making it ideal for the detection of small changes in light intensity at high light levels. The Prime™ X is a high performance linearly summed spectrometer featuring a high sensitivity -10°C TE Cooled Backthinned 512 x 58 CCD array. A 1024 x 58 CCD array is also available for increased range and resolution. Both spectrometers have fiber-coupled input, built-in 16-bit digitizer, external trigger and high speed USB 2.0 interface.

i-trometer™

Miniature Back-thinned CCD Spectrometer
(180nm-1100nm), Non-cooled, UV - NIR

The i-trometer™ is a miniature Backthinned 2048 x 64 CCD array, linearly summed spectrometer designed for meeting the needs of wide dynamic range spectral applications. A holographic aberration corrected flat field concave grating and optimized optical bench minimizes stray light and improves throughput.
The i-trometer™ employs a high UV-NIR response CCD detector array leading to high detection sensitivity. The spectrometer offers wide detection dynamic range, superior quantum efficiency (QE), high signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio and is ideal for various UV/Vis/Shortwave NIR spectroscopic applications. The optical input to the spectrometer can select from a single or bundled fiber option, providing ease of use and high throughput coupling for low light level detection. i-trometer™ also features plug-and-play USB interface for high speed data transferring.

The Sol™ 1.7 products are high performance linear InGaAs array spectrometers, featuring 256, 512 (standard), and 1024 pixels and TE Cooling down to -10oC, all while providing high throughput and large dynamic range.
Each spectrometer features an SMA 905 fiber optic input, a built-in 16-bit digitizer, and is USB 2.0 plug-and-play compatible. With our spectral acquisition software you can select between high sensitivity and high dynamic range mode within your pre-configured spectral range. Customized spectral resolution and application support are available.
