Motorized Stages - Prior Scientifc
Prior Scientific offer two families of motorised stages,the ProScan and OptiScan systems.
ProScan
ProScan is a highly accurate range of stages for research microscopy and applications where accuracy and repeatability are paramount. The XY Stages have a well deserved reputation for being the best available. The range extends to both upright H101A and inverted microscopes H117 as well as providing solutions for hardness testing HT1010 microscopes and fully incubated stages, HTH. A choice of motors, ball screw pitch and encoders combined with a fully configurable controller makes the range highly flexible. A wide range of sample holders are available. The ProScan range can also be adapted to fit other optical inspection systems and for this we can adapt and redesign stages to suit your needs.
A ProScan™II Motorised Stage System consists of a ProScan™II Controller, a selected stage from the ProScan™II Motorised Stage line and a selection of accessories to further customise the system.
The ProScan™II is ideally suited for the most demanding imaging applications where high precision and accuracy are essential. Uses include; image tiling, time lapse studies, virtual/digital slides, industrial and semiconductor inspection and high throughput screening.

OptiScan
OptiScan has been designed to be a one stop solution for an economic microscope automation system for both inverted ES107 and upright ES111 microscopes. The OptiScan Controller is supplied with 5 axis control ( 2 filter wheels and focus drive), including the motorised stage. OptiScan is an ideal candidate for use in optical inspection systems where the level of accuracy and repeatability is balanced with cost.
OptiScan™II is an accurate yet economical motorised stage system ideal for applications such as fluorescent image data acquisition, slide scanning, petri dish analysis, metallurgical analysis and Z only (focus) applications including stereology.
The OptiScan™II controller can control x,y,z, three shutter and two filter wheels as standard and is available with an option to upgrade to an encoded z axis. The controller is OptiScan™II is compatible with the world's leading image analysis software programs.
